When you use Sapper Project Cleaner, we automatically collect:

• Project names, keys, and IDs
• Project types (software, business, service desk)
• Project archival status (active or archived)
• Last issue update timestamps
• Project lead display names
• Scheduled cleanup settings
• Excluded projects list
• Cleanup history (timestamps, success/failure)
• Usage analytics for trial users (blocked actions, timestamps, license state)

We do not collect:

• Email addresses or credentials
• Issue content (titles, descriptions, comments)
• Attachments or files
• User activity logs beyond app-specific actions
• Personal contact or payment information

2. How We Use Information

2.1 Core Functionality

We use collected information to:

• Identify inactive projects
• Execute archival operations
• Calculate inactivity periods
• Apply cleanup configurations

2.2 Service Improvement

Trial analytics help improve features and optimize user experience. Data is aggregated and anonymized.

3. Data Storage and Retention

3.1 Storage Location

All data is stored in Atlassian Forge app-scoped storage within your Jira instance region.

3.2 Retention

• Configuration Data: Until uninstallation or deletion
• Cleanup Metrics: Retained indefinitely
• Trial Analytics: Last 100 actions retained
• Project Lead Names: Not stored
  

3.3 Deletion

When the app is uninstalled, all stored data is automatically deleted from Forge storage. To manually delete data, email help@softwired.com.au

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data.

4.2 Exceptions

Data may be disclosed only:

• When legally required
• To investigate fraud or security threats
• With explicit customer consent
  

4.3 Atlassian Infrastructure

Data is processed on Atlassian Forge, under Atlassian’s privacy policy and regional data residency controls.

5. Security Measures

We apply industry-standard technical and operational security:

• Forge authentication and HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Input validation and rate limiting
• Minimal data collection and no persistent personal storage
• Regular code and dependency reviews
• Role-based access respecting Jira permissions

No cookies or tracking are used. Session state is managed by Atlassian authentication only.

The app archives projects but does not delete Jira data. We are not responsible for data loss from user error or policy violations.
